A little site update since a few weeks! In order my Twitter community grows a bit more, I’m launching today a daily feature “Track of the day”, which consists that I share with all of you, everyday, a good track that I get my hands on. In fact, this is good news if you have an iPod and you are constantly looking for new music. To follow the feature, it’s pretty simple: connect to your twitter account or create one if you don’t have one already. Next, follow my tweets by clicking on the “Follow” button:
You will then see each of my tweets by checking your timeline, but let me tell you that you can be even more on the edge of each new tweet with text messaging, entirely free. For those who did not already know, I now work every Friday and Saturday at Club Dancce in Laval since mid May! DJ NightLife is now on Twitter! For those of you who have not heard about the Twitter phenomenon on the web, here is the Wikipedia definition:
Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read other users’ updates known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length which are displayed on the user’s profile page and delivered to other users who have subscribed to them (known as followers). Senders can restrict delivery to those in their circle of friends or, by default, allow anybody to access them.
Practically all the companies that invest much in advertising use it, including the president of the United States of America, Barack Obama, in order to publish press releases. Powerful marketing tool, it will have never been much easier to share some micro-information. We hear by micro-information every little action in a single day that answers the simple question: “What are you doing?”. On my own, I will only stick to activities and actions that may interest my future followers. Unlike Facebook statuses, a notification system is offered for free, in order to keep the track of your favorite tweets (only for Bell Mobility customers in Canada, for the moment) and the site is exclusively dedicated to this concept.
